We collect the following types of information:

• Personal Information.
  We do not collect personal information such as your name or contact details unless you provide it voluntarily (for example, when you contact us by email).
• Profile and Age Information (optional).
  In some parts of the app you may be asked to provide your age or date of birth. This information is used to determine whether certain features are appropriate for you (for example, features that are only available to adult users) and to help us understand the overall age distribution of our audience.
  Your exact date of birth is stored only locally on your device as part of your profile data and is not transmitted to our servers or to advertising networks. For analytics purposes, we may only use a derived value such as an age range (for example, “under 18” / “18+”) or a simple “adult / non-adult” flag, without your full date of birth.
• Analytics Data.
  We use analytics tools to collect data on how you use the app (for example, which screens you visit and how often you play). This helps us improve the app’s functionality and user experience. Where relevant, analytics may include a non-precise age group (such as “adult user”), but not your exact date of birth.
• Advertising Data.
  We display ads in the app, and ad networks may collect information about your device and activity (such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location or interactions with ads) to show relevant advertisements, in accordance with your consent choices and regional regulations.
• In-App Purchases.
  We offer in-app purchases, but we do not store payment information. Payment data is handled by third-party payment processors (such as Apple or Google).

1.1 Multiplayer Drawing Sessions

ArtLoop includes drawing modes where users may participate in private or multiplayer drawing sessions. In private sessions with friends, drawings are transmitted in real time between participants and are not stored on our servers. In multiplayer challenges, users may submit their completed drawings, which are reviewed by our moderation team before being shared with other users as part of the gameplay experience. We do not allow public sharing of user-generated content without moderation, and we do not store any personal data alongside drawings.

1.2 Real-Time Multiplayer with Random Players

ArtLoop also includes optional real-time drawing modes where you can be matched with random players from around the world. To protect younger users, these real-time multiplayer modes with random opponents are only available to players who confirm that they are above a certain age (for example, 18+). Younger users can still enjoy other modes of the app that do not involve real-time interaction with random players. Your age or age group is never shown to other players.

1.3 Consent and Regional Regulations

We comply with data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In regions where required, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before displaying personalised ads or conducting user surveys. You can manage your consent preferences within the app at any time.

2. How We Use Information

• Analytics and App Improvement.
  Analytics data helps us understand how you use the app and make necessary improvements (for example, which drawing modes are most popular). Where we use age information in analytics, it is limited to age ranges or an “adult / non-adult” flag and not your exact date of birth.
• Age-Based Features and Safety.
  We use your age or age group to decide whether to enable real-time drawing with random players and to disable these multiplayer features for users who are too young. This helps us provide a safer experience for children and comply with app store policies and applicable laws.
• Advertising Purposes.
  Advertising data allows us to display relevant ads and support the app’s funding, in line with your consent preferences and local regulations.
• Support and Communication.
  If you contact us via email, we use your information to respond to your inquiries and provide support.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We integrate third-party services to enhance the app’s functionality:

• Appodeal Advertising Network.
  We use Appodeal to serve advertisements in our app. Appodeal may collect data such as your device ID, IP address, and information about your interactions with ads. For more details, please refer to their Appodeal Privacy Policy .
• Google AdMob.
  We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements in our app, including standard and interstitial ad formats. As part of this service, Google may also show user surveys through ad units. Where we share age-related information with such providers, it is limited to non-precise values such as an age range or an “adult / non-adult” flag, and we do not share your full date of birth.
